2023年のJapan Societyでの七五三のお祝いの情報がウェブサイトに掲載されていました。コロナのために2020年から2022年までは開催されていなかったので、なくなってしまうのではと思ったのですが、2023年はSaturday, October 28 – Sunday, October 29, 2023に開催されるそうです。

- Title: 七五三 (Shichigosan: Celebrating the Health of Children)
- Date: Saturday, October 28 – Sunday, October 29, 2023

- Fee: $60 per child (includes a donation to UNICEF, gift candy and talisman) + kimono rental fee

- Description: Celebrate the growth and good health of children ages 3, 5 and 7 through the Shinto ritual of Shichigosan (“seven-five-three” in Japanese). Three- and 5-year-old boys and 3- and 7-year-old girls of all nationalities and religions, with accompanying adults, are invited to participate in this traditional celebration. Co-sponsored with the International Shinto Foundation. Rental kimono though ISF will not be available. If you bring your own kimono, a changing room for children will be available.
申し込みは、Sunday, September 17, 2023から受付が始まるそうですが、前年まではすぐに定数に達してしまうイベントでしたので、興味がある方は申し込み開始からすぐに応募した方が良さそうです。
