アメリカの国際交流基金が日本の書籍のデジタルライブラリーの提供を開始するとのことです。カナダのトロントにある国際交流基金では、かなり以前から同様なサービスが開始されているそうで、そちらで提供されている書籍はhttps://jf.overdrive.comで見られるようになっています。
アメリカでの日本語デジタルライブラリーサービスが、カナダのものと同様な蔵書になるかはわからないのですが、カナダでのサービスを見ると「鬼滅の刃」やSpyxFamilyなどの英語版の漫画ebookや、日本語学習書籍 (交流基金の「まるごと」シリーズ、「げんき」、その他の日本語学習の参考文献など）、文庫本など、とても豊富な蔵書になっています。

In collaboration with our New York and Toronto offices, The Japan Foundation Los Angeles is offering our digital library system through Libby to the general public. To apply, please complete the form at the link below. Applicants need to be 14 years or older and confirmation emails will be sent out at the end of the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays with directions on how you can login to the system and start checking out digital books on your phone or computer.
