Long Island City YMCA, located right across LaGuardia, is running a Japanese-English bilingual summer camp in July, 2021. They are looking for a Japanese summer camp counselor for the program. The teacher should have native fluency in Japanese and should be able to work legally in the U.S. Salary is commensurate with experience (between $17-20 per hour). Experience in early childhood education is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
– Fluency in Japanese (with a strong literacy skill)
– An Associate’s degree or a higher college degree
– A minimum of 3 years of early childhood experience (3-5 years old)

YMCA in LIC will offer Japanese Immersion Camp (age 3-4) for two 2-week sessions 7/5-7/16 and 7/19-7/30.
