日系人として生まれたけれども日本語も日本文化もあまり知らない三兄弟が、両親が亡くなった後に、日本から来た日本語しか話さない「ばあちゃん」と一緒に生活するというストーリです。継承日本語とは直接関係ないですが、日本語や日本文化がなくても日本にルーツのある子供たちのことや、言語や文化を超えた人間性や人との繋がりをテーマにした映画です。

Plot: Ray is a 30 something engineer obsessed with Gundam toys. He has a motto not to become close to anyone. During his mother’s funeral he showed no emotions.
