今年も、The Japan Societyさんとインターナショナル神道ファンデーションの共催で、七五三が2026年10月24日(土)-2026年10月25日(日) に行われるそうです。今年は、着物の着付けを無料にしてくれる抽選などもあるそうです。
自分の子供が3歳と6歳の時に参加しましたが、今でもとても良い思い出です。着付けについては、当時の参加体験のブログに詳細に書いていますので、そちらを参照ください。

- Fee: $70 per child (includes a donation to UNICEF, gift candy and talisman)

- Description: Celebrate the growth and good health of children ages 3, 5 and 7 through the Shinto ritual of Shichigosan (“seven-five-three” in Japanese). Three- and 5-year-old boys and 3- and 7-year-old girls of all nationalities and religions, with accompanying adults, are invited to participate in this traditional celebration. Co-sponsored with the International Shinto Foundation. Rental kimono though ISF will not be available. If you bring your own kimono, a changing room for children will be available.
